DAY 1 AIR TRAVEL TO LIMA (LIM)

Travel from your home country to Jorge Chavez International Airport (LIM), flight not included in tour price

DAY 2  AIRPORT JULIACA/ PUNO HOTEL

Today you will meet with others from your group and fly to Juliaca airport in Puno. After arrival we will meet Joseph, our local guide, and proceed with a a tour of the city, the museum and the market. Visit Puno City`s lookout point for a panoramic view over the city, and walk down to the town squares and the cathedral. A stop at La Casa del Corregidor to tour a colonial house, followed by coca tea and a stroll through local markets.

 

DAY 3  EXPLORE LAKE TITICACA

Visit Amantani, an island in Lake Tititcaca. Two temples once exisited here one dedicated to Pachatata (Father Earth) and Pachamama (Mother Earth). Visit the last authentic reed floating islands of Uros.

KAYAK EXTENSION: At arrival to the peninsula of Capachica the participants of the kayak activity after observing the Pachamanca ritual we will meet with the team of Titicaca kayak company, after the security briefing by our kayak guide, we paddle along the coast for 4 Kilometers 1-hour paddling. Enjoying the magnificent Lake Titicaca views, return to the kayak base camp, time to relax the enjoy a delicious lunch (minimum 2 participants)

DAY 4  AMARU MURU

Drive to the ancient Inca site of Amaru Muru to visit the legendary spiritual door or portal. Participate in an Ancient Andean ceremony.

DAY 5 TRAIN RIDE AND TEMPLE OF WIRAQOCHA

Luxurious 9 hour train tour through the magic Andes of Peru. All the pictures and viewing you could ever dream of. Making stops along the way including the

Temple of Wiraqocha at Raqchi. This temple is reported by some as the most significant temple in the Andes where rituals continue to be performed to this day.

 

DAY 6 - CUSCO

Visit Cusco’s Plaza de Arms and San Pedro Market, San Blas and the incredible lookout at San Cristobal, overlooking the entire city of Cusco.

DAY 7 ARCHEOLOGICAL SITES CUSCO

This is a big day of sacred sites. You will see the unbelievable megaliths used in the construction of Sacsayhuaman. And experience the undeniable energy of the place. The next stop is Qenqo, a powerful place with stairs leading to heaven and an underground chamber used for ancient spiritual rites. We will then visit the sacred fountains of Tambomachay. Followed by a stop at Puca Puqara, the Red Fortress of the Incas. Enjoy lunch in Cusco. Afternoon visit to the Main Cathedral and the Temple of the Sun Koricancha which is a must see.

DAY 8 CHINCHEROS

An especially adventurous day! Explore a portion of the Inca Trail and explore the archeological site of Chincheros. Along the way, we will stop for lunch at spot nestled in the jungle mountains. Your food is grown on the spot and harvested right from the river. It is a moderate 3 hour hike on the classic Inca trail.

DAY 9 SACRED VALLEY

Drive from Cusco to the Sacred Valley, and begin the day with a visit to Pisac, perched on the edge of a mountain. where we will visit to one of the beautiful farmer’s market in this community and enjoy lunch. Next is the iconic Ollantaytambo and Naupa Iglesia, which is a less well known but very powerful Huaca (sacred place of power).

DAY 10 TRAVEL TO MACHU PICCHU

We will travel by train from the Ollantaytambo train station to Aguas Caliente, where a short hike will take us to our hotel Inkaterra. Lunch in a nice restaurant then visit the thermal hot springs that have been in use since before the Incas. A relaxing day before tomorrow’s adventure.

Day 11 MACHU PICCHU AND HUAYNA PICCHU MOUNTAIN HIKE

Breakfast at the hotel then a visit the Majestic Machu Picchu. With option to hike Huayna Picchu with breathtaking views of the ancient ruins of Machu Picchu.

After lunch you will have free time to visit the town before we head back to Cusco.

DAY 12 BALCON DEL DIABLO

One of the unique highlights of this trip. Our local shaman/priest will take us to a spectacular cave hidden away at Balcon del Diablo. Here we will participate in a beautiful ceremony and interact with the Pachamama (Mother Earth) during a Quechuan ceremony specially tailored to our group.

DAY 13 DEPART

Transfer from your hotel. Morning Flight from Alejandro Velasco Astete Cusco International Airport (CUZ) to Jorge Chavez International Airport (LIM)

Travel to your home country from Jorge Chavez International Airport (LIM), not included in tour price

Meet Joseph…

Your outstanding tour guide on this adventure to Peru. Joseph is a native of Cusco. He speaks English, Spanish and the native language of Quechuan which goes back to the Incan Empire. His extensive experience and knowledge of the region and people allow for a more immersive experience into the ancient culture of Peru. Joseph is a fun loving, adventurous person who makes every tour a great experience!

Meet Jared…

Jared holds a Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University; where he focused his studies in Outdoor Leadership Training. This educational foundation of Experience Management served as a springboard into many successful and rewarding teaching opportunities over the last 15+ Years.

Jared has been an Instructor for Martial Arts, SCUBA, Free Diving, Rock Climbing, Wilderness Survival, Wilderness Therapy, Leadership Development and Corporate National Training Meetings. His studies, teaching and guided trips have taken him all over the world.

As a young adult, Jared served a two-year Ecclesiastical Mission on the Kiribati Islands. But his spiritual tutelage started at a much younger age and has lasted throughout his adult life—finding Truth, Light and Wisdom while exploring various religions and scriptural texts from many sects of Christianity, Taoism, Buddhism, Near Eastern Religions, Gnosticism, and Hermeticism. His years of religious studies have been prelude to encountering the esoteric truths hidden in the symbols, rituals, hieroglyphs, and architecture of Egypt. For the past several years his focus has been on the oldest religious text in the world—the Ancient Egyptian Pyramid Texts—and has recently completed his own translation of the Pyramid of Unas.
