Jared Rubalcaba

Jared holds a Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University; where he focused his studies in Outdoor Leadership Training. This educational foundation of Experience Management served as a springboard into many successful and rewarding teaching opportunities over the last 15+ Years.

Jared has been an Instructor for Martial Arts, SCUBA, Free Diving, Rock Climbing, Wilderness Survival, Wilderness Therapy, Leadership Development and Corporate National Training Meetings. His studies, teaching and guided trips have taken him all over the world.

The bulk of Jared’s professional career has been spent working with Youth/Teens in a myriad of Wilderness, Residential or State Therapeutic Programs. His passion is the healing and self-discovery that can be found in nature and discovering one’s place in the cosmos. This Bio should be pictured with him wearing a T-Shirt saying, “The Mountains are Calling, and I Must Go!”

As a young adult, Jared served a two-year Ecclesiastical Mission on the Kiribati Islands. But his spiritual tutelage started at a much younger age and has lasted throughout his adult life—finding Truth, Light and Wisdom while exploring various religions and scriptural texts from many sects of Christianity, Taoism, Buddhism, Near Eastern Religions, Gnosticism, and Hermeticism. His years of religious studies have been prelude to encountering the esoteric truths hidden in the symbols, rituals, hieroglyphs, and architecture of Egypt. For the past several years his focus has been on the oldest religious text in the world—the Ancient Egyptian Pyramid Texts—and has recently completed his own translation of the Pyramid of Unas.

But, the best thing about Jared is how amazing his wife is. Yes, she wrote this Bio

Mandy Green

Mandy graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities, and her love of that field has woven beautiful threads into all aspects of her life.

Mandy became fluent in Russian during her two year ecclesiastical mission to Moscow where she realized the power of understanding other languages. Since that time, she studied at Hebrew University in Jerusalem and has learned Biblical Hebrew and Koine Greek, which has allowed her to study scriptural texts in their originally written languages.

Mandy’s post-graduate studies have included a wide range of topics: Biblical Hebrew, New Testament Greek, the writings of Hugh Nibley, Egyptian religion, Hermeticism, Grail lore, and the divine feminine, with particular focus on Mary Magdalene.

Mandy is passionate about sharing her knowledge and has done so in many ways. She taught adult religion classes at BYU, has led tour groups in Israel, Jordan, Egypt, England, Scotland, and France, and is currently teaching at Project Illumination and writing and producing the podcast Reflecting Light.

Mandy loves to interact with students and fellow travelers and wants to help them experience all of the light and beauty there is to be found. Aside from her knowledge, she does this through her naturally friendly nature and humor. Her love of truth, light, knowledge, goddesses and flamingos (don’t forget the flamingos) makes for an unparalleled guide experience.
